Edinburgh Walking Tour
A six-hour walking tour of the city, starting at the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile, before making our way down through the Old and New Towns. The tour covers major landmarks and local hidden gems, showcasing the city’s architecture and culture.
About this tour
Welcome to Edinburgh! A city bursting with history, culture and… blah, blah, blah. Pretty straightforward really. We walk around the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh, exploring the streets, closes and historic buildings while uncovering the stories of the kings, criminals, philosophers and general troublemakers who made Edinburgh what it is today. We’ll keep it relaxed — a good wander, plenty of laughs, a wee bit of banter, and we’ll take it at your pace. If there’s something you’d particularly like to see, we’ll go see it. If there’s something you’re not too fussed about, we’ll happily dinghy it and move on — and if your wee legs need a break from the hills and stairs, we’ll pause somewhere for a coffee or a dram. whatever spins your kilt and makes your wee heart sing!
